I've always been fascinated by the idea of creating my own games. As a child, I even ran my own Minecraft server, but I never quite got the hang of developing my own games. In 2020, I decided to take the plunge and learn Godot. That fall, I joined my first game jam, the Spooky 2D Jam on itch.io, where I developed my first full game within just two days. It was an adventure puzzle game where you play as a ghost trying to escape a mansion without touching the light. I was amazed at what I could achieve with limited time and knowledge, and I even received quite good ratings. Since then, I've participated in many more game jams, continuously improving my game development skills
Ghosthunter Mansion holds a special place in my heart as it was my first full game created during a game jam. Initially named Ghostbuster Mansion, I changed the title to avoid copyright issues. A memorable moment was when a streamer played it, bringing my creation to a wider audience. In this stealth, puzzle, adventure game, you play as a ghost trying to escape a mansion. The challenge lies in staying hidden from ghost hunters who will chase you if you step into the light. Navigate through multiple rooms, each with unique puzzles, to find your way out.
Fueled by the excitement from my first game jam, I immediately dove into another, resulting in Donut Seduction Classic. In this highscore game, you play as a donut determined not to be eaten. The gameplay involves running away from enemies while tempting them to get close for points. Utilize items and traps to gain an advantage and survive as long as possible.
My game jam fever continued with The Stranger In Town, my third consecutive jam entry. Despite the small participation of just three developers, I managed to win. This game is a concise puzzle adventure where you solve four small puzzles to progress.
Fiesta marked my foray into multiplayer gaming. Initially designed as a local multiplayer game with different players sharing a keyboard, I ambitiously attempted to transition it online, though I didn’t get very far. The game features three different minigames that players can choose from within an open-world lobby.
At the time, Cookie Conspiracy was my most ambitious project, created during a longer game jam. You play as a little girl detective in a small town overshadowed by a mysterious cookie factory. One night, a man goes missing, and it’s up to you to uncover the conspiracy surrounding the factory. This puzzle adventure game blends intrigue with charming visuals.
Deep In Mind was intended to be an emotional narrative, albeit with a personal touch inspired by a crush I had. In the game, you find yourself lost in your own mind, navigating through a dark, ever-changing landscape. Solve perplexing puzzles to escape the confines of your mind.
My Garden Classic was my first game to receive a bit of attention, with an article written about it on a now-defunct website. This relaxing game lets you plant flowers in your garden, water them, and watch them grow.
Driven by a desire to improve Donut Seduction, I embarked on my first remake, rebuilding the game from scratch while retaining its core concept with minor tweaks.
The development of My Garden Remake coincided with the start of my YouTube channel, with my first devlog focusing on this project. Despite my grand plans, the game was never completed. The remake retained the original concept but introduced grid-based movement and significantly improved graphics.
Last Moment garnered the most views of any of my videos. In this highscore game, the world is ending in 60 seconds, and your goal is to have as much fun as possible, slowing down time in the process. The playground offers various activities to enjoy in your final moments.
Squirrel Time is a time-capped 2D platformer where you play as a squirrel that ages every 10 seconds. Each stage of life brings new abilities, but also takes them away as you grow older. The objective is to collect all acorns within your lifetime.
As a Christmas enthusiast, I wanted to make the holiday season special for others with Advent 2022. The development process was stressful, often creating levels the day before they went public and waking up at 4am to work before school. Inspired by the advent calendar tradition, this Christmas-themed 2D platformer unlocks a new level each day from December 1st to 24th, each day offering something new and exciting. Players gain a new ability every week.
